The Balance VR

 
 

The Balance VR is an interactive VR experience from Sultan Sharrief that tells stories from key moments in the history of the Ashanti Kingdom in present day Ghana, Africa. I was originally brought onto the project to help create VFX looks for the volumetric content in the experience, but also ended up designing the core interactive scene in the experience where player explores a museum based on the Ashanti Palace. It is filled with photogrammetry assets from the real palace and an interactive mini game I created. I also designed and implemented the overall experience architecture core functionality including game states, mini game progress, scene loading, content playback, UI/UX, and audio SFX.

The work is still in progress and all imagery is from alpha and beta versions of the experience.
